Hey there, it’s us! Randy, BrookeAnne, and Ridley! We are so excited to introduce ourselves! We have so much to share and hope that you connect with our hearts. We’re equally excited to know you! We wonder about who you are, what makes you unique, and we can’t wait to learn more. We have been praying over you long before today. You have our deepest respect. So dive in, sweet friend, we aren’t just an ordinary couple!

We met in Virginia, even though we were both born and raised in Michigan. BrookeAnne was in nursing school and Randy was stationed in the Army National Guard. One of BrookeAnne’s classmates was Randy’s twin sister and at a family birthday party to celebrate them, Randy and BrookeAnne met! We started dating four months later. Randy went over to BrookeAnne’s for dinner one night, and even though she made him breakfast for dinner (his least favorite dinner ever) he kept coming back and we were married two years later!...

I grew up in a small Michigan town spending lots of time outdoors, playing with family and friends. My father’s business was behind my grandparent’s house, so I was always over there spending time with family.

I played all kinds of sports through school and now enjoy experiencing sports for the first time with Ridley. I found a love for hiking, hunting, and fishing at an early age, enjoying all the beauty in the wild parts of Michigan. I cannot wait to share all of these wonderful things with Ridley...

Big Brother Ridley

Ridley is our first kiddo. He is incredibly smart and strong willed, but even with such a strong personality he is intensely tender-hearted.

He spends lots of his time with BrookeAnne around our homestead: digging in the dirt, planting flowers and playing outdoors in the sandbox fort or on the swing set, enjoying cookies while his momma bakes. He even likes helping with things like feeding the chickens or baking bread. He’s four years old and is learning how to...

Our home might be unlike any other you read about because we’re homesteaders! We like to grow our own food! We make bread and cheese, cook from scratch, and live off the land!

We have a couple of wooded country acres on the corner of two quiet dirt roads. We have a large yard with a swing set, a climbing tree, a hammock surrounded by flowers, and a sandbox built like a castle!

BrookeAnne’s family lives close. Her parents, Gummy and PopPop, love to have their grandkids over to play. BrookeAnne’s younger brother comes often to play with Ridley, and recently he taught him how to ride mountain bikes. BrookeAnne’s sisters live abroad—one in South Korea and the other in Africa. We video chat often and are very close. Numerous aunt’s, uncles and cousins live nearby, too. Family events are packed full of loud laughs and goofing off!
